The junior staff has been selected! Congratulations to Concetta Mizner, Angela Modany, David Barton, Bre Starinsky, Brittany Mikkelsen, Kate Hoptay, AManda Walasik, Jamie Antoszyk, Abby Pherson, Laura Beachy, Hannah Min, Scott Burnham, Sara Deppenbrook, Samantha Shiring, Rebecca Alt, Michael Priestas, Melissa Unger, Kylie Czulewicz, Kim Hughes, Katie Swank, Jillian Hinderliter, and Jessica Brucker. Lauren Bonando, our Junior Staff Director is busily preparing for our seminar. She will be in touch regarding your position and duties. Thanks for your interest in serving as a Junior Staff member at the 2008 HOBY PA-West Leadership Seminar. Please mark your calendars now! The seminar will be held at Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, PA from Thursday, June 12, 2007 through Sunday, June 15, 2008. There are a limited number of positions available in each category. The application requirements are embedded in the application. The link is available below. Applications are due by March 1st at 5pm. Late applications will only be considered if there are positions remaining. Applications are reviewed and scored by a Selection Committee. Since the Junior Staff is a very important component of the seminar, staff members will be chosen based on the merits of their application. Please take the time necessary to fill it out in full. You are expected to attend the entire seminar. There is a $175.00 fundraising requirement for all Junior Staff members. Junior Staff members should also be prepared to arrive by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, to help set up the seminar. If the dates conflict with an obligation you already have, please be prepared that you may not be selected. Each and every HOBY alum is a great candidate and a hard worker! The decisions made by the Selection Committee are not made lightly. We value you and hope that you will continue your involvement in HOBY PA-West for years to come.
