Leadership for Service (L4S)HOBY Leadership Seminars include a service component called "Leadership for Service." This program encourages the 8,500 sophomores who attend HOBY Seminars across the country to undertake community service projects and requires a minimum total of 100 hours from each ambassador. This effort results in at least 850,000 volunteer service hours each year. To step up efforts to help young people realize the personal and social benefits of volunteerism and service, HOBY gives each ambassador who successfully completes the 100 hours of service a recognition and rewards package. With everyone's help, we can reach 10,000 hours by the 2009 Seminar!
