Ambassadors to the Western Pennsylvania Leadership Seminars of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) are special students exhibiting great potential as tomorrow's leaders. Accordingly, many colleges and universities are interested in attracting this caliber of individuals to their institutions to contribute to furthering the student's leadership development.

Certain colleges and universities have designated scholarships to be available to Pennsylvania HOBY Seminar alumni. Such individual scholarships vary in amount, each being provided from one to four years at the various participating institutions.

Admission and scholarship decisions are the sole responsibility of the participating colleges and universities, exact selection requirements vary somewhat among the different institutions. HOBY volunteers are in no way involved in the selection of HOBY Leadership Scholarship recipients. HOBY alumni should ask an admissions or financial officer at the college about the scholarship prior to application.

The Leadership Seminar program of HOBY in Pennsylvania is a valuable and unique opportunity being made available to our ambassadors. The institutions making these scholarships available are commended for their commitment to encouraging the leadership development of today's youth.
